Here’s a simple hack for slippery guitar picks. Take some course, 150 grit sandpaper (or equivalent), and pinch & twist the pick back and forth a bit. Make sure to avoid getting the tip of the pick. Viola!

Hey Coire! Miss you bro. I did a similar trick to this forever. I’d take a small sharp blade like an X-acto and cut a crisscross pattern. (Like what artists would call crosshatching.) worked like a charm. Later on I discovered Snarling Dog Brain Picks, which come with the grippy action pre-installed. A little pricey, but they work great and come in a nice little tin. But DIY always rocks.
